About Jun and Hoshi

I wonder if the reciprocation doesn't work as well there because Hoshi gives the most love when he's a complete stone and not reacting at all. Like, I've seen a lot of people point out that Hoshi giving love involves him removing himself from the moment completely, watching the other person and having that moment be entirely about them. There's some story about Dino outside a restaurant or something that gets used as an example because Hoshi likes telling that story and never mentions himself in that story ever because to him it is a very important dear-to-his-heart story about Dino that he got to witness. Similarly, I feel like Hoshi surprisingly matches well with Minghao because Hoshi's so willing to let Minghao have his moment, to watch Minghao in his element without giving any input besides letting Minghao know that there is a witness to his trials and triumphs. Like In The Soop, Hoshi quietly nudging Minghao into talking about his reading and his thoughts without giving anything besides the fact that he is listening. And so Jun and Hoshi end up being kind of incompatible, since Jun's love language requires both of them to be there, for Jun to give himself, and then watch the reaction to himself. Whereas Hoshi will either receive love by putting himself in completely, or give love by taking himself out completely. Who knows though, maybe I'm reading Hoshi wrong.
